Vanessa Rodrigues, Montreal's queen of the Hammond B-3 organ, has produced a crowd-pleasing set of tunes, the titles of which have a food theme, including a version of Herbie Hancock's Watermelon Man. The musical focus is on the funk and soul as much as on the food for thought as Rodrigues and band get down and dirty with a tasty stew of soul jazz, blues, gospel and hip-hop that will settle around your butt and hips.
